INTELLIGENT ARCHITECTURAL TOY
This project will be the final project for ICM, Physical Computing, and Commlab Web. The aim of this project will be to make conversations between people in distance sometimes with time and to reconstruct the past memories, including stories through objects.
One of the interesting points of chess is the figures.
They look like they make an argument between their spacial languages.
My proposal is creating ‘Intelligent Architectural Toy’ and it looks like this. It aimed to help develop people’s spacial languages with a storytelling.
The players imagine different sorts of spaces and play with them by putting them together.
The each unit has a micro controller, a sensor, a lighting and possibly microphone.
The initial interest of this project is when someone creates the same combination as others, the unit light up.
The magical moment is the moment they talk with others somewhere around the world through the spacial language. The intelligent toy save the data online to allow other players to interact with.

PHASE 0 -11/11
– CONCEPT, idea, system diagram, bills and budgets, timeline(Dec.9) ordering the tools and the materials
PHASE 1 -11/18
– RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT, – researches other examples(like little bits and swathes etc), playing with components, prototyping, packaging
PHASE 2 -11/ 25
– USER TESTS, users, play testing exercises, records, reports, feedback, and make changes
PHASE 3 -11/25-12/9
– BUILDING THE FINAL PRODUCTS, based on the feedbacks, redrafts the plan, new materials, buffering
